Continuing a push for timely disclosure, the Presidential Inaugural Committee has updated its lists again, as some news sources are reporting.
The committee has disclosed raising $27.3 million from slightly more than 2,000 donors. Most of the money disclosed appears to be coming from well-heeled contributors, with 378 donors giving the maximum permitted by the PIC, $50,000, while another 223 donors gave at least $25,000 but less than $50,000. Obama fever also runs in at least 37 families, where relatives combined donations to the inaguration exceeded the $50,000 limit placed on individuals by the committee.
